Saturday Morning Motivation

Life and work may have been super busy but I couldn’t miss a Saturday morning to send out some positive thoughts and vibes!

For this Saturday, it’s another one from Our Sole Intent. I’ve just been feeling a lot of her posts.


There are setbacks in order to have comebacks.

There are bumps along the road to remind us that the path we are on may not always be perfect, but we are meant to keep moving, turning, and twisting toward our goal.

When you feel like something isn’t happening fast enough, you’re not meeting target paces or goals, it’s usually in that next mile or the next race or run that something clicks. Wait for that next mile.

This Saturday, be thankful and mindful of why we do this. It’s our choice that we run, bike, walk, and swim. It’s our decision.

  1. Good morning Melanie! I love this quote. I’m in the midst of my self imposed rest period, and it’s taking every ounce of self control I have not to run this morning! So I needed this motivation to keep me on track with that….
