I’m really excited to be taking part in my first virtual coffee date! My first cup is in hand and I can’t wait to share with you what’s going on.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I have my 20 miler this morning and I’m a little nervous about it. I’ve planned an awesome route and have friends to run it with me, but after a few iffy long runs training, I’m being realistic. The weather is in our favor, so that is a huge plus!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I just splurged on the most amazing sweater. I NEVER do that. I’ll buy things here and there for under $20, but I had to have this sweater. Not only will it look super cute with leggings and boots, but the best part, it has a thumbholes. I can’t wait til it gets here.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that Nick was in Colorado all week for work and Hayden and I were on our own. I am so thankful for family who were a tremendous help to us this week. Our schedules are all over the place, but my family was there to support us. I don’t know what I would have done without them. Hayden and I had a great week just doing mommy and daughter things too. We went out to dinner nightly, shopped some and got her a haircut. We even stopped for donuts too! 🙂
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that my student teacher is awesome! I am so happy to be working with a college student who is so eager to learn about teaching. She’s already jumping in and helping me teach class and my students asked where she was this week when she had to miss a day. A true sign that they like her too! I’m excited to see her grow and become an amazing Spanish teacher.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you I’m looking forward to pacing next weekend, my last time for the year. It’s a local race so it’ll be an advantage to know the course having run it several times. I hope that we have a good sized group with us! It makes it that much more fun!
So tell me what you’ve been up to? How has your week been?
